The Excel Christian Academy Spartans basketball team (Lakeland, FL), was overwhelmed 84-54 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks (Auburndale, FL)
The Seahawks now possess a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Altamonte Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Jordan Christian Prep will confront a Eagles team coming off a 80-39 non-league loss to Deltona (Deltona, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 14-6.
The Spartans (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against McKeel Academy (Lakeland, FL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, McKeel Academy was overwhelmed by Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL), 60-56, in a non-league battle.
