Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers (Waterford, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit Jaguars (West Bloomfield, MI), 51-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Our Lady of the Lakes upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Lakers host Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI) to play the WOLVES in a Catholic Intersectional II bout on Tuesday, January 31. The WOLVES go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Detroit Cristo Rey lost 38-37 in their recent league bout against Austin Catholic (Chesterfield, MI)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Roeper Roughriders (Birmingham, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
