Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Manheim Central tops Garden Spot

Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Garden Spot Spartans (New Holland, PA), 61-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Manheim Central upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Ephrata (Ephrata, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a record of 10-6. Ephrata won 57-48 in their recent league bout against Solanco (Quarryville, PA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Fleetwood Tigers (Fleetwood, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Garden Spot will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 18-1 record after their 78-63 league win over Schuylkill Valley (Leesport, PA).
