Malta Mustangs (Malta, MT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, MT), 70-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Malta upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Rocky Boy (Box Elder, MT) to play the Northern Stars in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Northern Stars go into the bout with a record of 9-3.

Next up, the Scotties play the Wolf Point Wolves (Wolf Point, MT) in a B District 2 bout, on Friday, January 27. Glasgow will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 65-59 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, MT).
