The Oshkosh North Spartans basketball team (Oshkosh, WI), was nudged 87-84 in Thursday's league battle with the host Hortonville Polar Bears (Hortonville, WI)
The Polar Bears now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette University for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Hortonville will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 64-48 league win over Wauwatosa East (Wauwatosa, WI). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 12-3.
The Spartans (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kimberly (Kimberly, WI). The Papermakers come into the Fox Valley battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Kimberly edged West Allis Hale (West Allis, WI), 67-58, in a non-league battle.
