The Marvell Mustangs basketball team (Marvell, AR), dropped 72-52 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Lee Trojans (Marianna, AR)
The Trojans now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hazen for a 2A Region 6 battle on Friday, January 27. Lee will battle a Hornets team coming off a 70-41 league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 2-8.
The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Scott Charter (Scott, AR). The come into the 1A Region 5 battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Scott Charter dropped by Clarendon (Clarendon, AR), 62-36, in a league battle.
