Oregon High School Basketball - Oakridge overwhelmed by Monroe

The Monroe Dragons basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Oakridge Warriors to 38 in the Dragons league victory on Thursday.
The Dragons now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Illinois Valley for a 2A Valley Coast contest on Saturday, January 28. Monroe will battle a Cougars team coming off a 70-27 league win over Reedsport (Reedsport, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 10-11.
The Warriors (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR). The Panthers come into the 2A Valley Coast contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Gold Beach triumphed over Bandon (Bandon, OR), 64-50, in a league contest.
