Tennessee High School Basketball - University knocked off by North Greene

The North Greene Huskies basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting University Buccaneers to 41 in the Huskies league triumph on Thursday.
The Huskies now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Greene for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. North Greene will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 85-52 non-league win over Washburn (Washburn, TN). The Buffaloes record now stands at 10-13.
The Buccaneers (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock County (Sneedville, TN). The Indians enter the 1A District 2 contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Hancock County was defeated by Jellico (Jellico, TN), 59-55, in a league contest.
