The Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) basketball felled the visiting Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), 77-62 in Thursday's league test.
The Seagulls (13-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Saints go into the C South test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, St. Dominic was beaten by Waynflete (Portland, ME), 48-34, in a league test.
The Rangers now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Seacoast Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. Traip will encounter a Guardians squad coming off a 57-45 non-league loss to Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Guardians record now stands at 4-11.
