In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Poteau Pirates basketball team scored a tight 55-51 triumph over the Panama Razorbacks.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the Spiro Bulldogs (Spiro, OK) in a NOAA match, on Friday, January 27. Poteau will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record.
