The Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans basketball team (Scottsdale, AZ), was toppled 65-52 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Phoenix Country Day Eagles (Paradise Valley, AZ)
The Eagles now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glendale Prep Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Phoenix Country Day will confront a Griffins team coming off a 47-27 non-league loss to Rancho Solano Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Griffins record now stands at 9-5.
The Spartans (10-14) will now prepare for their battle against Red Rock (Sedona, AZ). The Scorpions come into the 2A Metro battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Red Rock beat Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 41-35, in a league battle.
