The Ranney basketball team (Tinton Falls, NJ), was toppled 67-53 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ)
The Purple Roses now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Bank Regional for a Shore A - Central battle on Saturday, January 28. St. Rose will confront a Bucs team coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Bucs record now stands at 4-10.
The (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record.
