St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Santa Clarita Christian Cardinals (Canyon Country, CA), 65-61 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Monica Academy upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Valley Torah (Valley Village, CA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a Heritage bout on Monday, January 30. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 21-3. Valley Torah won 90-50 in their recent non-league bout against Geffen Academy (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Trinity Classical Academy Knights (Valencia, CA) in a Heritage bout, on Saturday, January 28. Santa Clarita Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 78-70 league loss to St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA).
