In Thursday's league outing, the Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN), by a margin of 65-35.

The Lions (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Cardinals go into the A Section 1 outing with a 2-14 record. In their last outing, LeRoy-Ostrander was trounced by Houston (Houston, MN), 76-64, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Glenville-Emmons for a A Section 1 outing on Tuesday, January 31. Schaeffer Academy will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 50-33 league loss to Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-12.
