West Salem Titans (Salem, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR), 75-66 in a league bout.

With the win, West Salem upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Titans travel to South Medford (Medford, OR) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-4.

Next up, the Saxons clash with the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) in a 6A Central Valley bout, on Wednesday, February 1. South Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Olympians go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 71-55 league win over North Salem (Salem, OR).
