Westmark Lions (Encino, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Summit View Eagles (Valley Glen, CA), 57-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Westmark upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Lions host Ojai Valley (Ojai, CA) to clash with the Spuds in a Omega bout on Friday, January 27. The Spuds go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Ojai Valley lost 71-38 in their recent league bout against Hillcrest Christian (Thousand Oaks, CA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the San Fernando Valley Academy Huskies (Northridge, CA) in a Omega bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Summit View will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
