Eureka Loggers (Eureka, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Fortuna Huskies (Fortuna, CA), 72-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eureka upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Loggers host St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Huskies play the Del Norte Warriors (Crescent City, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Fortuna will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record.
