Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA), 47-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Freedom upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Falcons host Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to play the Lions in a bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Liberty won 69-27 in their recent league bout against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
