The Abington Heights Comets basketball team (Clarks Summit, PA), dropped 44-36 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA)
The Cavaliers now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Villa Maria Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Scranton Prep will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 53-39 league win over Nazareth Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 16-2.
The Comets (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, North Pocono beat West Scranton (Scranton, PA), 44-25, in a non-league battle.
