Florida High School Basketball - Hernando ripped by Anclote

The Anclote Sharks basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Hernando Leopards to 39 in the Sharks league triumph on Thursday.

The Sharks now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fivay for a 5A District 6 contest on Friday, January 27. Anclote will battle a Falcons team coming off a 54-16 non-league loss to East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 3-19.

The Leopards (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Citrus (Inverness, FL). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Citrus was routed by Lake Weir (Ocala, FL), 82-10, in a non-league contest.
