Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL), saw Lincoln-Way West's basketball squad hold off Andrew by a count of 45-42.

With the victory, Lincoln-Way West upgrades its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lyons (LaGrange, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 22-4. Lyons won 55-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban - Red challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Andrew will attempt to upgrade on its 13-13 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 12-15 record after their 50-37 non-league win over Reavis (Burbank, IL).
