Athens Indians (Athens, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Litchfield Terriers (Litchfield, MI), 39-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Athens upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Hillsdale Academy (Hillsdale, MI) to clash with the Colts in a Southern Central bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Hillsdale Academy won 46-25 in their recent league bout against Camden-Frontier (Camden, MI)

Next up, the Terriers clash with the Tekonsha Indians (Tekonsha, MI) in a Southern Central bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
