Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bangor knocked off by Notre Dame-Green Pond

The Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Bangor Slaters to 28 in the Crusaders league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palisades for a Colonial - East contest on Saturday, January 28. Notre Dame-Green Pond will meet a Pirates team coming off a 49-16 non-league loss to Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-11.

The Slaters (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Palmerton (Palmerton, PA). The Blue Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Palmerton was outscored by Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA), 43-40, in a league contest.
