In Thursday's league outing, the Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), by a margin of 53-22.

The Hawks (6-19) will now prepare for their outing against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 5-19 record. In their last outing, Metea Valley was trounced by Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL), 73-40, in a league outing.

The Maroons now own a 8-19 record. They play next when they host Glenbard South for a Upstate Eight outing on Tuesday, January 31. Elgin will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 20-5.
