Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge can't hold off Boulder Creek

The Boulder Creek Jaguars basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions to 53 in the Jaguars league victory on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Connor for a 6A Desert Valley contest on Friday, January 27. Boulder Creek will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-37 league win over Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.

The Mountain Lions (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Peoria, AZ). The Lions come into the 6A Desert Valley contest with a 4-19 record. In their last contest, Liberty was nudged by Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 64-31, in a league contest.
