Carson City-Crystal Eagles (Carson City, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI), 37-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carson City-Crystal upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Montabella (Blanchard, MI) to play the Mustangs in a Mid-State bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Montabella lost 44-21 in their recent league bout against Fulton (Middleton, MI)

Next up, the Huskies play the St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Breckenridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 55-15 league win over Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI).
