The Brilliant Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Haleyville Lions to 37 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berry for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27.
The Lions (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Curry (Jasper, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the 4A Area 12 contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Curry was defeated by Hamilton (Hamilton, AL), 59-17, in a league contest.
