The Cape Elizabeth Capers basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Freeport Falcons to 41 in the Capers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Capers now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fryeburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Cape Elizabeth will battle a Raiders team coming off a 54-38 non-league loss to York (York, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 2-9.

The Falcons (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Phoenix come into the non-league contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, Spruce Mountain edged Buckfield (Buckfield, ME), 72-18, in a non-league contest.
