California High School Basketball - Kirby Prep nips Ceiba College Preparatory Academy

Kirby Prep Griffins (Santa Cruz, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ceiba College Preparatory Academy Spartans (Watsonville, CA), 35-32 in a league battle.
The Griffins now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anzar for a PCAL - Arroyo battle on Wednesday, February 8.
The Spartans (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA). The Hawks come into the PCAL - Arroyo battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Oakwood was nudged by York (Monterey, CA), 46-26, in a league battle.
