The Central A & M Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals to 44 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Raiders now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Central A & M will meet a Knights team coming off a 66-52 league loss to Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL). The Knights record now stands at 15-8.
The Cardinals (17-11) will now prepare for their contest against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL). The Rams enter the Central Illinois contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Shelbyville ran past Meridian (Macon, IL), 57-40, in a league contest.
