The Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA) basketball nipped the host Central Valley Christian Cavaliers (Visalia, CA), 35-32 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Exeter (Exeter, CA). The Monarchs go into the Tri-County - Sequoia test with a 4-16 record. In their last test, Exeter was tipped by Reedley (Reedley, CA), 34-19, in a league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 4-19 record. They play next when they host Reedley for a Tri-County - Sequoia test on Wednesday, February 1. Central Valley Christian will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 46-39 non-league loss to Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 9-14.
