Illinois High School Basketball - Clinton holds off Sullivan

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL) and the visiting Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL), saw Clinton's basketball squad hold off Sullivan by a tally of 40-36.
With the victory, Clinton improves its record to 13-15 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL) to confront the Raiders in a Central Illinois challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 16-9.
Next up, the Redskins confront the Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) in a Central Illinois challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Sullivan will attempt to improve on its 9-17 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-17 record after their 57-40 league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL).
