The Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions basketball team (Blountsville, AL), was overwhelmed 51-21 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Cornerstone Christian Eagles (Rainsville, AL)

The Eagles now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tabernacle for a Alabama Christian - II North battle on Friday, January 27. Cornerstone Christian will confront a Torches team coming off a 35-31 league win over Marshall Christian Academy (Albertville, AL). The Torches record now stands at 4-3.
