Oroville Tigers (Oroville, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), 49-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Oroville upgrades its record to 4-16 on the campaign. The Tigers host Orland (Orland, CA) to play the Trojans in a Butte View bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 14-9. Orland won 45-15 in their recent league bout against Corning (Corning, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a Butte View bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Corning will attempt to upgrade on its 0-20 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 43-32 league win over Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).
