Georgia High School Basketball - Pickens thwarts Dawson County

The Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA), 46-37 in Thursday's league test.

The Dragons (16-4) will now prepare for their test against East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, East Jackson notched a victory over Union County (Blairsville, GA), 51-48, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Lumpkin County for a AAA Region 7 test on Friday, February 3.
