The Union County Fightin' Tigers basketball team (Lake Butler, FL), dropped 58-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL)
The Bears now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trenton for a 1A District 7 battle on Friday, January 27. Dixie County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-39 non-league loss to Newberry (Newberry, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-10.
The Fightin' Tigers (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Bell (Bell, FL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 5-20 record. In their last battle, Bell dropped by Chiefland (Chiefland, FL), 49-36, in a non-league battle.
