The East Central Eagles basketball team (Sandstone, MN), was nudged 45-38 in Thursday's league battle with the host Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies (Isle, MN)
The Huskies now possess a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wrenshall for a non-league battle on Monday, January 30. Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] will confront a Wrens team coming off a 65-43 league loss to Kelley (Silver Bay, MN). The Wrens record now stands at 0-11.
The Eagles (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, Moose Lake/Willow River was nudged by South Ridge (Culver, MN), 82-42, in a non-league battle.
