The Trimble Tomcats basketball team (Glouster, OH), was toppled 60-52 in Thursday's league battle with the host Eastern Eagles (Reedsville, OH)

The Eagles now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Virginia Episcopal School for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Eastern will confront a Bishops team coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Bishops record now stands at 5-9.

The Tomcats (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH). The Lancers come into the Tri-Valley - Hocking battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Federal Hocking beat Belpre (Belpre, OH), 53-50, in a league battle.
