The Edison Chargers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Huntington Beach Oilers to 32 in the Chargers league victory on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marina for a Wave contest on Monday, January 30. Edison will battle a Vikings team coming off a 60-53 league win over Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 12-14.

The Oilers (8-18) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA). The Breakers come into the Wave contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Laguna Beach triumphed over Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA), 45-37, in a non-league contest.
