The Ellicottville Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Franklinville Panthers to 46 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salamanca for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Ellicottville will meet a Warriors team coming off a 46-45 league loss to Cassadaga Valley (Sinclairville, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 5-8.

The Panthers (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against North Collins (North Collins, NY). The Eagles enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - East II contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, North Collins was outscored by Lake Shore (Angola, NY), 51-12, in a non-league game.
