The Emerson Cavaliers (Emerson, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting New Milford Knights (New Milford, NJ), 49-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Cresskill (Cresskill, NJ). The Cougars go into the Olympic - American test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Cresskill went down by Westwood (Washington Township, NJ), 41-26, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cliffside Park for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. New Milford will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 65-40 non-league loss to Becton (East Rutherford, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 1-11.
