The Ferndale Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting University Eagles to 9 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southfield Arts & Tech for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record.
