In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Florence Bobcats basketball team scored a decisive 44-18 triumph over the Forest Park Trojans.
In their next game, the Bobcats meet the Wabeno/Laona Rebels (Wabeno, WI) in a Northern Lakes match, on Friday, January 27. Florence will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record.
With the defeat, Forest Park moves to 3-10 on the year. The Trojans host Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI) to meet the Wolves in a Central Upper Peninsula match on Monday, January 30. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 10-2. Carney-Nadeau won 60-31 in their recent league match against North Central (Powers, MI)
