In Thursday's league outing, the Slidell Greyhounds (Slidell, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Forestburg Longhorns (Forestburg, TX), by a margin of 63-13.

The Greyhounds (23-3) will now prepare for their outing against Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region III District 22 outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Prairie Valley was trounced by Bellevue (Bellevue, TX), 33-28, in a league outing.

The Longhorns now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Midway for a 1A Region III District 22 outing on Friday, January 27. Forestburg will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 75-55 league win over Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 10-17.
