The Fulton Pirates basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Montabella Mustangs to 21 in the Pirates league victory on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coleman for a Mid-State contest on Tuesday, January 31. Fulton will battle a Comets team coming off a 48-19 league win over Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Comets record now stands at 4-9.

The Mustangs (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI). The Eagles come into the Mid-State contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Carson City-Crystal triumphed over Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI), 37-23, in a league contest.
