The Neillsville Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Gilman Pirates to 30 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyal for a Cloverbelt - East contest on Friday, January 27. Neillsville will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 48-37 non-league loss to Edgar (Edgar, WI). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-11.

The Pirates (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Spencer (Spencer, WI). The Rockets enter the Cloverbelt - East contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Spencer was routed by Pittsville (Pittsville, WI), 48-41, in a non-league contest.
