Singer Hornets (Singer, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA), 43-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Singer upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Hornets host Starks (Starks, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a C District 4 bout on Monday, January 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-11.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA) in a C District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Hackberry will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
