California High School Basketball - Madera South nudges Hoover

January 26, 2023: Madera, CA 93637

In Thursday's league outing, the Madera South Stallions (Madera, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), by a count of 41-36.

The Stallions (19-5) will now prepare for their outing against Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Rough Riders go into the County/Metro outing with a 21-4 record. In their last outing, Roosevelt held off Sanger West (Fresno, CA), 70-10, in a league outing.

The Patriots now hold a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Shafter for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28. Hoover will clash with a Generals squad coming off a 53-33 league win over Taft (Taft, CA). The Generals record now stands at 17-7.
