With the victory, Horseshoe Bend improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Lanett (Lanett, AL) to confront the Panthers in a 2A Area 6 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Lanett won 70-22 in their recent league challenge against Reeltown (Notasulga, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Wadley Bulldogs (Wadley, AL) in a 1A Area 8 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Winterboro will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 53-39 non-league win over Reeltown (Notasulga, AL).
