The Savio Eagles (Austin, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Hyde Park Panthers (Austin, TX), 63-25 in Thursday's league test.
The Eagles (19-8) will now prepare for their test against Regents (Austin, TX). The Knights go into the TAPPS 5A District 3 test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Regents was trounced by Hyde Park (Austin, TX), 37-35, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 13-14 record. They play next when they host St. Michael's for a TAPPS 5A District 3 test on Friday, January 27. Hyde Park will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 57-41 league win over Savio (Austin, TX). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-11.
